We are currently working on a couple of installations, we will post those as soon as possible.
We have been getting 100 degree heat out of the vent inside from about 10:00 am to about 4:00 pm on sunny days. Our regular gas furnace has not been running during the day. We are very pleased so far. Sincerly, Kerry and Lynn Below is my personal setup using solar water heating and space heating. I am in the process of building a new house. It will be heated with solar space heating and solar radiant heat. Taking my heating needs off the grid. Solar water heater installation, this system heats 80 gallons of hot water on sunny summer days. Water coming in the house on days of 15 degrees runs at 160 degrees or hotter. In the summer 195 degrees. Summer I shut my water heater of from mid May to mid September when sun is shining.
Your Solar Home SolarSheat 1500 GS installation. We have had an unusually cold winter this year, going 8 weeks with out temperatures above 45 degrees. House has stayed above freezing so far. We have had temps in the -10 area at night and +15 during the day for the week of 01/20/2008.
As you can see the doors are not installed yet. Windows are not sealed with foam yet. During the day I get a 8-10 degree rise in temperature. This is a 1440 square foot house. No drywall or room walls installed yet, just 2" of poly urethane spray foam in the outside walls.
Tack full size template to building Drill 5 1/4" holes Attach mounting bracket Opposing holes because of stud configuration
